The former nation state that used to
be situated on the northern border of
the Empire was known for its oasis-like
lands in the midst of a vast desert.
A long established nation of hunters
and gatherers, these relatively primitive
people were annexed by the Empire in
Imperial Year 45.
The Empire had moved into the area
under the pretense that it was purging
the region of bio-engineered creatures,
and before the people of Li Vis realized
it, the Empire had completely occupied
their lands and claimed them in the name
of the Emperor.
