"Several years ago, probably back in 1996 or 1997, I saw my first fanmade anime music video. The concept was boggling, and though the equipment to create such a video was obnoxiously expensive back then, I knew I wanted to make one someday, and so I started thinking about it.
 
I always knew that my first music video would use footage from Panzer Dragoon Saga set to the song "Name" by the Goo Goo Dolls. What inspired it were the ending lines to the song: "It's lonely where you are, come back down. And I won't tell your name." Something about it just struck me as being appropriate for the scene where Edge catches Azel as she floats down from Atolm's protective sphere. And as the years went by a scene or an idea would strike me and I'd make a note of it in the simple text file that held all my ideas.
 Then one day in January 2004 I discovered, lo, I have Movie Maker on my computer. So I took out my game discs, converted all the movie files, and started editing. Late in the evening that same day I had finished my first draft of the video. I did some tweaking and such over the next two weeks, but for the most part I was happy to have finally made the video I'd been pondering over all these years. It's been a long journey and I hope the viewers out there enjoy it."
