30. Panzer Dragoon Zwei on PC.
Date: 14th of November, 2002
Source: XenGamers
Updated By: Solo
Sega and Kansai Multimedia plan to give users of the Broadband Club and CyberDisc service access to download emulated versions of the Saturn games Golden Axe: The Duel and Panzer Dragoon Zwei! Sega hasn't commented on pricing or whether the games will be available through some other method, but they are expected to downloadable later this month in Japan. To run the emulated Panzer Dragoon Zwei on your computer you'll need a Windows compatible PC with a 2GHZ Pentium 4 processor and 64MB VRAM. In other words anything less than a beast won't be able to handle it.

29. A triple update for The Will Of The Ancients.
Date: 13th of November, 2002
Updated By: Solo
You may have noticed a lack of updates recently and that is because I have been busy will several things that are surprisingly not related to Panzer Dragoon! Over the last month I've been sent several new additions to the site, which I have just added as one big update.
The first is a completely rewritten Sky Rider Theory where Geoffrey Duke has compiled all of his ideas about how Lundi could have been the same person from the discussions on The Excavation Camp forum.
Next is the first review of the Panzer Dragoon OVA. I have yet to watch this so it was a great help that Neil could write one for this website.
Lastly I've added the 12th and 13th chapters of Arc'engal's Scourage of the Terrablossom, which has been accessible to members of the The Excavation Camp for some time now (surely that's a good enough reason to join?). This is not quite the final part, and I'm still not sure if even the next part will be the last, however I'll try and keep you updated on what's going on in the Scourage fan fiction universe as soon as I hear more.

28. New appendix mode in Panzer Dragoon Orta.
Date: 2nd of November, 2002
Source: http://sega.jp/x/pdo
Updated By: Solo
Like the title says, a new option has been revealed for Panzer Dragoon Orta as part of Pandra's Box. The Appendix option will have all sorts of images and information on the Saturn Panzer Dragoons, so those who enjoyed the past games have something to look forward to (this sounds great!). Below are some of the things that will be included in the Appendix mode:
FILMS
ILLUSTRATION
EVENTS
PANZER DRAGOON (I presume this is the complete version of the original game)

27. Orta flavoured Xbox... but there's only 999 of them!
Date: 23rd of October, 2002
Updated By: Solo
For nine hundred and ninety nine Japanese residents, a limited edition Panzer Dragoon Orta Xbox package will be a reality. The package includes a white Xbox console, seen in this picture (thanks Game Watch for the jpeg), a copy of Panzer Dragoon Orta, and a limited edition necklace. The bundle will be available through Sega's online store for 35,800 yen. If you're thinking of going for it, don't wait too long as there's only 999 of them. Sega will start taking reservations on November the 1st.

26. New archives section added.
Date: 12th of October, 2002
Updated By: Solo
A small update to say I've changed how the news on this site will work slightly. Basically when the main page gets more than ten news stories on it I will put them onto another page that can be viewed by clicking on a link at the bottom the screen. This should make viewing the front page a slightly quicker process. Each news story will also now have a number (this one, for example, is 26) so they'll be easier to find. It's all about keeping this place tidy as well as ease of use.

25. A mention in the Official Xbox Magazine!
Date: 8th of October, 2002
Updated By: Solo
Although I've never intended this site to be more than a hobby and personal tribute to the Panzer Dragoon series, it's great news that I've just been given a bit of extra coverage. The Will of the Ancients was mentioned in the November issue of the Official US Xbox Magazine under the old URL of http://www.azelonline.cjb.net (which still works thankfully!). I didn't know anything about it until a Panzer fan known as Chuck emailed me about it. Since we usually get the UK gaming magazines here in New Zealand I wasn't able to pick up a copy but Lagi kindly scanned the page so I could see it for myself. You can view the page by clicking here.

24. A limited edition Of Panzer Dragoon Orta will be released in Japan.
Date: 4th of October, 2002
Source: PlanetXbox
Updated By: Solo
Those Japanese seem to get everything don't they? Not only do they get the game first but also a limited edition featuring an extra audio CD of atmospheric Panzer Dragoon music. The CD will feature the music from the trailers of Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon II Zwei, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Panzer Dragoon Orta. I'm hoping this will be brought to NTSC-U and PAL Xboxes too, although it seems unlikely. If you can understand Japanese and are prepared to pay a bit more for the game then consider yourself lucky.

23. The Panzer Lagoon launches... and so does Xbox.
Date: 3rd of October, 2002
Updated By: Solo
Another new Panzer Dragoon site... fantastic! The latest tribute to the series, amusingly titled The Panzer Lagoon has been set up by James "Popcorn" Duffy and contains information on all the titles in the series. It's nice to see so many new Panzer sites popping up all over the place in the last few weeks :)
I've added a new tip to the Panzer Dragoon Zwei Secrets page - a different sort of way to defeat the Episode 3 boss (which is, by far, the coolest boss in the game in my opinion). Thanks to harrisandykSPAMISTHEEQUIVALENTOFCOOLIADUNG@aol.com for pointing this out.
Lastly, and also off topic, today the Xbox finally launched in New Zealand! Yep, after almost a year since the Xbox was launched in the States, the rather large black box was made available in various stores around the country. I haven't picked one up yet, but it'll be interesting to see how long it'll be before Panzer Dragoon Orta makes its way here. Would June 2003 be a realistic guess?

22. The reviews section expands.
Date: 1st of October, 2002
Updated By: Solo
There is now two new reviews in the Reviews section of this site. Actually one of them isn't new, but a rewrite of Geoffrey Duke's Panzer Dragoon Saga Review. He has also written a review for the second game in the series, Zwei. If you're thinking of tracking down either of these games they're worth a read and also if you're just curious about someone else's viewpoint of the game.
Also I've added the name of the compiler of the Panzer Dragoon Saga FMV Script to the Dialogue section for credit.

21. The third part of Zero. Confused?
Date: 29th of September, 2002
Updated By: Solo
I've added the third chapter of the fanfic Panzer Dragoon Zero to the Fan Fiction section of this website. Many thanks to Shadow for writing it and letting me use it on The Will of the Ancients.
Also, since several of you have requested it, I've readded the Panzer Dragoon Saga FMV Script which was on my old website Azel Online. Sorry I can't remember who sent it to me so I can't provide credit (if it was you say so now!). I hope this will help some of you who only have the Japanese version understand what's going on a bit better.
