20. The fifth but not final part of a fanfic.
Date: 28th of September, 2002
Updated By: Solo
The fifth part (chapters 10 and 11) of Arc'engal's huge piece of fan fiction, Scourage of the Terrablossom has been added to this site. The fanfic will now span six parts rather than the original five it was intended to be. You can view the latest installment in the Fan Fiction section.
While I'm on the subject of fan fiction I'd also like to point out a new Panzer Dragoon site that has been started up by Shadow, a member of the Panzer Dragoon forum. Panzer Dragoon Zero is a website about the fanfic of the same title (also on The Will of the Ancients) that he is writing. The site is looking good from what's been put on it so far. You can visit it along with other Panzer Dragoon pages in the Links section.

19. Get two Panzer Dragoon games for the price of one!
Date: 28th of September, 2002
Updated By: Solo
It had been rumored, but now it's been confirmed in the US Offical Xbox Magazine. Included in Panzer Dragoon Orta is the original Panzer Dragoon game! It will most likely the Windows version since the Xbox is so simular to a PC internally. Of course it's unlikely you'll be able to play the game straight away... you'll have to earn the game through Pandra's Box which will give players something to look forward to when trying to get 100% shot down ratio on every stage.
Thanks to Tails of Sega World Weekly for this information.

18. Those lucky Japanese get PDO this year!
Date: 27th of September, 2002
Source: PlanetXbox
Updated By: Solo
Sega of Japan has announced that Panzer Dragoon Orta is going to be released on December the 19th 2002 in Japan. The game will sell for 6,800 yen (about $US54) so those of you who can't possibly wait for the American or European version (I know the feeling!) should be able to preorder the Japanese version from somewhere like Lik-Sang or National Console Support soon.

17. Orta sings her way onto Xbox.
Date: 20th of September, 2002
Source: Gamespot
Updated By: Solo
While it is probably not meant to be Orta singing, it is true that the main theme of Panzer Dragoon Orta has been revealed, and in my opinion it is as beautiful as Sona Mi Areru Ec Sancitu. There is also a new trailer for the game which can be downloaded by following this link. Unfortunately the trailer doesn't feature the beautiful song, but it can be heard by listening to one of the streaming video links below:

16. Another Panzer Dragoon Saga?
Date: 20th of September, 2002
Source: IGN Xbox (IGN Insider Only)
Updated By: Solo
This news is going to get any Panzer Dragoon Saga fan excited and once you hear it you'll understand why! When IGN visited Tokyo Game Show they spoke to the people at Smilebit. After explaining that the reason Panzer Dragoon Orta was a shoot em up was to reintroduce people to the Panzer Dragoon world, Kawagoe added that if there was going to be a continuation of the Panzer Dragoon series that the next game would be an RPG! Apparently there was a smile on his face as he said this... was he hiding something we don't know about?
Due to copyright issues I can't publish the whole article on this site but you can read some of it on this thread at the Die Welt von Panzer Dragoon forum.

15. Orta will be at Tokyo Game Show.
Date: 19th of September, 2002
Sources: PlanetXbox, translated from Panzer Dragoon Official Website
Updated By: Solo
According to the Panzer Dragoon Official Website, at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, Panzer Dragoon Orta will be on display at SEGA's and Microsoft's booths. There'll be 6 display units at Microsoft's and 8 at SEGA's. Both will have some Panzer Dragoon Orta memorabilia for people who visit the show to take home with them. I received a nice Panzer Dragoon Orta pin from a fan who went to E3 so it'll be interesting to see what sorts of goodies fans will be able to pick up from Tokyo Game Show in several days.

14. Part four of Scourage Of The Terrablossom added.
Date: 18th of September, 2002
Updated By: Solo
Chapters 8 and 9 have been added of Arc'engal's fanfic. The story is beginning to come to it's conclusion now (it's planned to be five parts in total) and we finally get to discover the meaning of the title. You can read the latest two chapters (or previous ones if you need to get up to date) in the Fan Fiction section.
If you like Arc'engal's writing you might like to check out his newly started Panzer Dragoon website called The Temple of Sestren. It contains a very indepth walkthrough to Panzer Dragoon Saga, covering the first two discs and soon the whole game. You can visit it by clicking here.

13. Panzer Dragoon Orta is delayed until January 2003.
Date: 14th of September, 2002
Source: IGN Xbox
Updated By: Solo
The title says it all really. While some people will be devastated at the news of having to wait an extra two months for the game, I'd like to congratulate SEGA for not following the trend of other publishers and rushing the game in time for Christmas sales. We can now expect the final product to be even more impressive than what would have been released in November. But who knows now how long us PAL Xbox owners will have to wait for Panzer Dragoon Orta... April 2003 maybe?
"SEGA decided to delay the release of 'Panzer Dragoon ORTA' in order to continue adding innovative features and content to the game and its stunning back story," said Mike Fischer, vice president, entertainment marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "SEGA has a well-earned reputation for developing industry-leading content, and this decision reflects our commitment to quality."

12. Another addition to the fan art section.
Date: 13th of September, 2002
Updated By: Solo
I really need to get some originality into my titles. But anyway, like the title says I've once again added to the Fan Art section. Kheel's first Panzer Dragoon drawing is more creative than others as he has used his own designs for the dragon rather than choosing a particular model from the games. You can view the picture of the Kheel and the Dragon here.

11. An addition to the fan art section.
Date: 8th of September, 2002
Updated By: Solo
Another short update to say I've updated the Fan Art section. The latest picture shows Dsudorion's interpretation of what the inside of the Azel's body looks like since she is more like a biomonster internally. You can view the picture here.
