Factions

There are no forces that are completely good in the Panzer Dragoon world, nor are their any sides that are the definition of evil itself. But that, of course, is what makes the story so intriguing. This section contains 'factual' summaries of various factions that live or have lived in the world of Panzer Dragoon. The pieces of writing listed below describe the events that surround these factions as well as explaining each of their goals or purposes. If you read any information that you think may not be correct, it would be worthwhile informing the author of the summary.

The Towers	Geoffrey Duke	This summary describes the three Towers that are present in the Saturn Panzer Dragoon games, their roles, and most importantly, the events that surround them.
Drones	Geoffrey Duke	One of the most mysterious factions of the Panzer Dragoon world are the drones. In the Panzer Dragoon trilogy we confront at least two of these humanoid biomonsters.
Wormriders	Solo Wing Dragon	Coexisting with the bioengineered monsters of the Ancient Age, the Wormriders are one of the most fascinating tribes of the Panzer Dragoon world. This summary discusses their appearance, village, and lifestyle.
Dragonmares	Neil	The Empire has at last succeeded in creating the ultimate weapon that caused their very own destruction. However these dragonmares are not true dragons.
Pure Type Bio-monsters	Geoffrey Duke	Built to protect, destroy, and manage the ecosystem, Pure Type bio-monsters were created by the Ancients thousands of years ago. These monsters still guard the Ancient ruins, long after their creators disappeared, and to this day no one knows why.
The Old Empire	Geoffrey Duke	There are many themes inherent to the Panzer Dragoon Saga as a whole, but none so fascinating as typical human nature. Where will controlling the ancient technology lead humanity if the costs are disregarded?
The Seekers	Solo Wing Dragon	Fighting against the forces of the Ancient Age, the Seekers wish to free the world from the will of the ancients using less brutal methods than the Empire. But do all of the Seekers have as noble goals as Gash did in mind?
The New Empire	Neil	After its population was halved by the onset of the Great Fall, the people of the Empire regrouped to begin rebuilding their civilization with the help of new friends and the hindrance of old enemies.
Hunters	Lance Way	Proud and fearless, hunters take on the responsibility of defending human settlements from the fearsome monsters. As well as protecting human civilisations, the hunters also kill monsters as a source of food.
