An aerial creature that builds its nest
within slow moving fresh water areas
such as rivers, lakes, and deltas.
They are known for their aggressiveness
when approached by intruders, and will
charge seemingly without any regard for
their own safety.
As with all bio-engineered creatures,
the Shams feature an extremely hard
exoskeleton that protects them from
harsh environments, as well as most
conventional weapons.
It is thought that each individual Sham is
incapable of independent thought,
but as a group, they are able to work
almost as extensions of a single unit.
